Material extrusion 3D printing applications for composite aerospace may be further down the line. When that time will come, however, French company Multistation will be ready to meet demand. The company led by President Yannick Loisance is now the exclusive distributor of two key composite extrusion systems: continuous fiber desktop 3D printer manufacturer Anisoprint and large (actually huge) format composite pellet extrusion manufacturer Ingersoll. Multistation also presented its new ADDITIV3X consultancy service to help companies familiarize with these new systems and materials.

For once i agree with him. I have said for a long time that the move to a midengine corvette should coincide with the spinning off of Corvette as a standalone luxury performance brand in the vein of Porsche. It would allow them to build other models under the nameplate and command a premium while not competing with the Cadillac brand. Obviously they could share platforms and that would underpin the costs of such an investment, while allowing for shared technology between two prem brands and not sharing with the mainstream GM brands. But being GM, i am sure such logical moves would fall on deaf ears

Decision needed soon on booster … One of the central questions relates to the readiness of the SLS rocket by 2023 for the Clipper science mission (highly, highly unlikely according to the inspector). The White House prefers to save up to $700 million by launching the mission on a Delta IV Heavy or Falcon Heavy rocket. Congress has mandated the SLS. A decision probably needs to be made by this fall, mission planners say.
